One of the best psychobilly bands to come out of Texas so far,  The Ghost Storys, from Space City (Houston), Texas!  HB8 has seen this band move fairly quickly from playing decent songs on crappy equipment to great songs on better equipment.  They also have a determined attitude to move forward with their music .  Whether it means constantly gigging anywhere and everywhere when they first started (regardless of pay!) or putting together a professional recording and production of their own album, The Ghost Storys have heart.   Other bands should take a lesson here.  What else makes The Ghost Storys special?  Well they're the kind of psycho band who honor the true pioneers of original psychobilly while cultivating their own sound and brand of psycho humor.  These guys are a breath of fresh air in an American psychobilly scene that has developed a philosophy of "faster is better" (although that does seem to be changing which is a good sign that the American psycho scene is here to stay).  The Ghost Storys do have some nice speedy numbers but they never lose the 'billy in psycho.  So if that's your bag, dig this groove of 3 kooky dudes from Houston, TX.  For fans of Guana Batz, Batmobile, Klingonz, and 12 Step Rebels.
